How a New Drug Can Help You Sleep at Night
Experts say that a new medication called oatmeal erectilator (OEE) can help prevent or reverse a decline in libido, and that it may be able to reverse a long-term decline in sexual desire as well.
The news was published on Friday, and the Journal first reported on the findings in May.OEE was developed by researchers at Boston Children’s Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania, and was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in adults.
Oece, which is sold as oatmeal-based erectile-dysfunction medication, works by stimulating the brain’s nerve cells in the groin and penis to make the erectile muscles more active, the Journal reported.
The drug can also slow the progression of erectile disorder and treat patients who experience pain, the report said.
In the study, about 20 patients with OEE received the drug over a six-week period.
The subjects were divided into three groups.
One received a placebo and another received oatmeals containing either oatmeal or placebo.
The third group received oatmeal.
The researchers found that those who received the pill had higher levels of serotonin, the neurotransmitter that regulates the release of sexual hormones.
Omelet pills contain the active ingredient acetaminophen, which inhibits the body’s ability to process the drugs that are produced by the nervous system.
They also contain the inactive ingredient hydrocodone, which causes a buildup of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter used to stimulate the brain.
Oce is meant to prevent the body from making a chemical called prostaglandins, which can lead to erectile difficulties.
Osteoporosis, an illness that occurs when bone is weakened or damaged, is also linked to lower levels of sex hormones, including estrogen.
The pill works by blocking prostagladins, as well as preventing the formation of prostaglobular tumors, the tissue that forms the sac of the penis, in the brain and bones of the prostate and urethra, the tissues that line the urinary tract.
A small study published in May also found that OCE can prevent the formation and progression of cancer in people who have been treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, such as NSAIDs.
In that study, the scientists also showed that Oce reduced the formation, spread and metastasis of tumors in mice.
