A 17-year-old Ohio girl is suing a drug company over erectile disorders medication.
In a lawsuit filed Monday, the girl says she’s suffering from EDD and needs a treatment that won’t work.
The drug maker says she needs to take the medication every two weeks to keep her libido intact.
“I’m scared to use it because I know if I do, I’m going to be on it for a year,” the girl said.
The girl, who goes by the name Mollie, told WLWT-TV that she took her first dose of the medication last August.
It’s now her second dose, which is supposed to take effect in six weeks.
Molli’s mother says she was unaware that her daughter was suffering from an EDD disorder until she started seeing symptoms.
The family’s attorney, Daniel DeRosa, told the Cincinnati Enquirer that the teen has been in a psychiatric facility since March because of her EDD.
Molls condition has worsened since the medication was first prescribed, and she is currently in a treatment program.
She’s seeking class-action status for her rights.
